Hey Zeth,
The next time you open Sidekick, you should be able to get the router target started by navigating to the "Configure" tab in the top right corner, followed by "Reset a Target" and then restarting the router. If this doesn't work please reach out to us in an email (support@pingman.com) and we can take a closer look using your email (so you don't have to share that info here).
As for seeing packet loss at your router, it sounds like with the additional packets from PingPlotter/Sidekick the router may be prioritizing timed-out ICMP requests differently. This is normally done to accommodate higher-priority traffic. The important thing to remember is that as long as the final destination looks good, what happens earlier in the route can be ignored.
